Cheerleader Information

The Williamson County Raptors cheer program provides a top of the line recreational cheer experience, with a competitive option for those that are interested. We're proud to recognize our competitive cheer program as the 2022-2023 grand champs! While taking 1st place in their division at 4 different competitions, they were also awarded a bid to compete at nationals!! All cheer squads will practice age-appropriate cheers, stunts, tumbling, and a halftime routine. The Raptors Cheerleaders will participate in all games, two parades, and two community events. 

Raptors Sideline Cheerleaders

 *Sideline Cheer is offered as a less committed cheer program. Your child will learn the basic fundamentals of cheerleading. With a sideline performance and learning a dance routine for our half time show.

Fees: $250 due at registration

Registration Fee covers:

  • Game Uniform
  • Game Bow
  • Pompoms (returned after each game/performance)
  • Practice Uniform
  • Practice Bow
  • End of year banquet 

Sideline Cheerleaders will be required to purchase the following items, separate from the above provided items:

  • White cheer appropriate shoes for games
  • Water Bottle

Our regular cheer season is held July - November of each year. Our sideline cheerleading program is for children ages 5-12. 

Raptors Sideline + Competitive Cheerleaders

*Competitive cheerleaders must participate in regular season practices, games, and events to be eligible to attend competitions. 

Fees: $250 due at registration and $810 due by the first week of September.

This option is for ages 7-12yrs of age, and will provide all the fun of sideline cheer, with a more competitive component. In addition to the regular schedule game and season events, the competition team will participate in 3-5 competitions. Cheerleaders will be responsible for any additional travel and hotel costs associated with these competitions. A full schedule and additional information will be given out before practices begin in July.

 Registration Fee covers:

  • Game Uniform
  • Game Bow
  • Pompoms (returned after each game/performance)
  • Practice Uniform (2 sets)
  • Practice Bow
  • Competition fees
  • Facility fees for indoor practices during fall/winter 
  • End of year banquet

Competitive Cheerleaders will be required to purchase the following items:

  • White cheer appropriate shoes for games
  • Water Bottle
  • Competition uniform (more information to be provided at a later date)
  • Competition shoes (more information to be provided at a later date)

Documents required:

  • Original Birth Certificate
  • TN State Physical

Game Information

*Cheerleaders should come to every game in FULL UNIFORM.

*If the cheerleader does not come in full uniform, they will not be able to take the field.  This includes hair pulled up and out of the face, uniform, shoes, bow, etc. 

Additional team items will be available for purchase; however, are not required. 

Age cutoff for players are based on a August 1st cutoff. Athletes can only cheer up no more than one age division.
